We had some fun this week dressing up as 100 year olds and taking pics! We wrote about what we would do if we were really 100! I think most of us decided that all 100 year olds would start each day off eating oatmeal lol!

Buzz Word: PBL
The King of All Wild Things Challenge: Today we collaborated with the other second grade classes to participate in a design challenge! What a hit! We broke up into groups and we used limited materials to build boats for Max and the wild things (after reading one of our favorite books, Where the Wild Things Are)! The goal was to build a boat that could float and carry the most wild things back home! An amazing day with amazing students! They did so well!
Field Tripping!
2nd grade McWane Center takeover! I enjoyed getting to explore with my students! I have some little scientists! They were worn out at the end lol!
Turkey Crafting
We colored coffee filters and took them outside to spray them with water. Can you guess what we'll use this for?
Family!
I have the sweetest parents and grandparents this year. The amount of help from families has been phenomenal! I'm lucky to have such a great team of supporters working with me.
Red Ribbon Week!
Flashback to Red Ribbon Week! What a great way to promote drug awareness and teach kids how to keep themselves safe from any type of harmful substances. We ALL enjoyed dressing up each day lol! And we even got to perform at the attendance rally on Friday!
